Tour of Sardinia

1st Day:
Arrival at the Airport of Olbia, guided tour of Porto Rotondo, then transfer in hotel around Olbia. Arrival at the Hotel, check-in, dinner and overnight stay.

2nd Day:
Santa Teresa & Castel Sardo

Breakfast in Hotel. Departure for Santa Teresa, guided tour of the old town: visit of the Spanish Tower of Longone and Bonifacio’s mounth. In the afternoon visit of the medieval town of Castel Sardo, that thanks to its geographical location you will have a stunning view of the various landscapes. You can admire the coasts of the Gulf, also the coast of Corsica. Return to the Hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

3rd Day:
Maddalena Island

Breakfast in Hotel. Departure for Palau Port. Boarding on the ferry to the Maddalena Island. Guided tour of the island and next walk on the panoramic road along the Maddalena Coast where you can see the other 6 islands of the archipelago. Return to the Hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

4th Day:
Barbagia, Nuoro & Orgosolo

Breakfast in Hotel. Guided tour of the old town of Barbagia with the opportunity to visit the Museum of art and folk traditions. Lunch with shepherds in Montes, in Orgosolo. In the afternoon visit the town of Orgosolo, known for its mural. Return to the Hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

5th Day:
Tempio & Calangianus

Breakfast in Hotel. Departure for visiting the granit town of Tempio. Visit of Calangianus, a little town situated on a upland plain at the foot of Mount Limbara. Calangianus is sorrounded by large cork woods for whose work was described as « Cork’s Capital ». The tour continues with the visit of a Cork Factory where you’ll see the artinasal manufacture of it. Return at the Hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

6th Day:
Alghero

Breakfast in Hotel. Departure for visiting Alghero, a medieval old town known also as « Barceloneta, the little Barcelona » due to his catalan style. Visit and walk in the little alleys full with Boutiques and Shops where you can buy coral jewels. In the afternoon facultative visit of the Roman Church of Saccargia. Return to the Hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

7th Day:
Smeralda Coast

Breakfast in Hotel. Departure to visit the Smeralda coast, known for his natural beauty and his luxury style around the world. The development of the Coast from a natural jewel to an important destination for luxury holidays, whas in the middle of the XX century thanks to the prince Karim Aga Khan IV. He build numerous luxury hotel complexes. Next visit of Porto Cervo, Baia Sardinia and walk in panoramic streets to admire the localities of Cala Volpe and Capriccioli. In the afternoon, visit of two archeological sites : Nuraghe Prisgiona, a fortress of the bronze age and the Tomb of the giants of Coddu Ecchiu. Return in Hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

8th Day:
Breakfast in Hotel. Departure for the Airport in Olbia.
