Structure

The property is situated in the center of Pozza di Fassa and takes its name from the mountains that are in front. Opened in 1929, it has taken the place of an ancient refreshment station for stagecoaches, mail convoys and then rare, tourists. The property offers spectacular views of the Dolomites, the Sella Rosengarten, the Monzoni to Sassopiatto and is the ideal starting point for excursions and summer activities and, thanks to the proximity to the ski lifts, for unforgettable days in the snow during the winter. Built classic Trentino style, though maintaining the traditions of warm hospitality, offering guests the amenities make it a more pleasant holiday.

Pozza di Fassa and surroundings

The Val di Fassa is made up of seven municipalities (Moena, Soraga, Vigo di Fassa, Pozza di Fassa, Mazzin, Campitello and Canazei) and is crossed entirely by the Avisio stream, a left tributary of the Adige River. The valley is surrounded by some of the most important mountain in the Dolomites, the pale mountains: the Marmolada, the Sella Group, the Sassolungo, the Catinaccio mountains, but also by mountains in dolomitic lithology does not like the Buffaure and Monzoni.
It is the only thirty Valley (along the valleys of Gardena and Badia in South Tyrol and Livinallongo and part of the Ampezzo valley in Veneto), where they still speak the Ladin language (more precisely the Dolomite Ladin).
The Val di Fassa is connected to other Dolomite valleys through numerous passes: the San Pellegrino pass connects Moena with the valley Biois (BL), the Fedaia pass connects with Rocca Pietore, the Costalunga pass connects Vigo with the Ega valley ( Alto Adige), while from Canazei you can reach Livinallongo (BL) through Pordoi Pass and val Gardena (BZ) through the Sella pass.
The activities taking place in the valley are mainly related to tourism, both summer and winter. The ski resorts of the valley are part of the Dolomiti Superski, the largest in the world. The ski areas of the valley are the following:
- Catinaccio at Vigo di Fassa and Pera.
- Buffaure in Pozza, then linked to the Ciampac Alba of Canazei.
- Belvedere / Col Rodella Canazei / Campitello, with connections to Val Gardena and Arabba-Marmolada (BL). From here you can participate in the tour of the Dolomites Sella group, called the Sella Ronda.
- Three Valleys at Moena and Passo San Pellegrino-Falcade
As for summer tourism, you can use the means of winter ascent to reach the points more comfortable access for many hikes, characterized by alpine lakes, forests and rocky cliffs.

Diffidate dalle recensioni negative e verificate da voi.Abbiamo trovato ambienti confortevoli,piscina bellissima.Personsle professionale,attento e disponibile.Menu a prenotazione vari ogni sera.Il parcheggio limitato,ma stando in centro si sa,cmq a 100 m ampi parcheggi pubblici strisce bianche.Completamente soddisfatti.Grazie delle premure,ci rivedremo sicuramente.

Mi sono trovato molto bene,il mangiare buono complimenti al chef.le pulizie della stanza molto pulite, l'acqua calda perfetta,i caloriferi della stanza perfetti.poi per il resto ci siamo trovati benissimo 👍

Siamo stati benissimo, camere nuove e molto pulite, cene abbondanti e di nostro gradimento, posizione dell'albergo ottima. Se dovessi segnalare qualche difetto o pecca direi che il parcheggio dell'albergo è sempre occupato (disponibile però non a pagamento a circa 400 m vicino a caserma Vigili del Fuoco) inoltre il servizio ai tavoli tra una portata e l'altra è veramente troppo troppo lento e con dei bambini è un po' difficoltoso soprattutto perchè si addormentavano aspettando il piatto dopo. Due ore per cenare non è poco. Purtroppo la piscina era chiusa ma nel complesso siamo stati molto, molto bene e questi aspetti per noi sono irrilevanti. Alla prossima vacanza

Personale molto disponibile,siamo stati presi in giro dal Direttore per quanto riguarda la piscina interna che è rimasta sempre con acqua fredda durante la nostra permanenza, nonostante i reclami.Sauna inesistente, nonostante facesse parte del pacchetto iniziale.Per il resto posto incantevole.

Soggiornato con mia figlia di 8 anni, amica e suo figlio di 8 anni e siamo stati benissimo. La camera assegnata era perfetta per le nostre esigenze, colazione e cena abbondanti e di buona qualità (piatti non tipici del trentino, ma noi siamo venuti per stare bene non per mangiare), piscina con temperatura dell'acqua ottima ed anche di dimensioni giuste per fare rilassare e nuotare i bimbi, riscaldamento nelle camere ottimo e posizione rispetto al paese e alle piste di sci eccellente. Staff cordiale, simpatico e disponbile che ci ha fatto subito sentire ben accolti e a nostro agio. Esperienza da ripetere, grazie davvero per tutto! Un saluto speciale a Katia e ai ragazzi della sala da pranzo.
